Career advice par excellence!

Career advice par excellence!

A client said, "I went to the Careers Office at my university to talk about my career options. The Careers Advice Officer asked, 'Well, have you decided which career to pursue?' Just a minute I thought, isn't an advice session supposed to be the other way round? She's supposed to advise me isn't she? Taken aback, I muttered something inane about the police force. 'Ah', she said, 'I've got some brochures on that!' She handed me a brochure and that was the end of the session."

This wasn't the 1960s it was only a few years ago. Has nothing changed in over 50 years? Please cheer me up with your own more positive experience of careers advice at university! #careeradvice #careermanagement #careerguidance #personaldevelopment #proteuscareermanagement
